To second the slow start to our marathon, here’s a serving of something faster. I’d never imagine Jo Kwon attempting anything beyond ballads or bubblegum pop but he shelves that thought with this collaboration. Along with Baek Ji Young, the queen of ballads who leads on smoothly, this tune doesn’t amount to anything fantastic but does show both singers’ versatility.
“밤새도록 (Throughout The Night)” is included in Baek Ji Young’s 7th album “Sensibility” and showcases a significant change from her previous works, after the balladeer’s recuperation from a vocal cord operation.
So how about easing out of that chair and doing a little jiggy around the room for a bit?

this song on the whole isn’t amazing…
but they killed it! Baek Ji Young used to sing latin influenced and upbeat song before going into ballads…so this side of her isn’t really new either…
enjoyed it, and jokwon def added something special..
i sure like it, this urban style suits both of them. (though considering jo went through jyp’s dance training and she used to do dancesongs before, it’s not that surprising to hear them do something faster)

what’s up with older singers featuring newer singers in their songs? seems like everyone is doing that nowadays to gain more attention.

BJY’s latest album is amazing!
Her attempt at singing upbeat tempo songs and songs from a genre other than ballad is pretty successful I would say.
My favourite tracks are 입술을 주고 and Like Being Hit By A Bullet. Great songs to listen to. <3
