Any girl can’t resist a good looking guy in an expensive suit. We’ve all seen the boys of this year’s highly anticipated drama looking swanky and fine. But I feel that girls of “Boys Over Flowers” are being left out of the spotlight. So here’s a rundown of the female cast of the Korean “Hana Yori Dango”.
Giving Serena van der Woodsen a run for her money in the short skirt department is series’ lead Goo Hye Sun (pictured above) while filming on the set of their fictional school Shinhwa (not to be confused with the 10 year old boyband).
Han Chae Young has a lot to smile about these days. Korea’s Barbie Doll is playing SS501’s Kim Hyunjoong’s first love. Here she is seen shooting with the rest of the F4 boys at the airport.
Kim So Eun takes the role of Hye Sun’s best friend. Kim Hyun Joo will be the spunky older sister of Lee Min Ho while veteran actress Jeon In Hwa rounds up the cast as Min Ho’s manipulative mother.

Finally I get to see some news on the girls in this drama.
All this time I was like “What about Makino? She’s the lead also.” I mean I love f4 but two/three of the guys aren’t even there most of the time.
chaeyoung is gorgeous … ._. and wow, they definitely chose the right girl for makino, hyesun is kinda plain looking..
Every time I hear news regarding the drama, it makes me impatient…

To be honest I am not very familiar with the original Japanese version of Boys Before Flowers but I am looking forward to this new series. It sounds interesting and I’m a fan of Kim Hyun Joo and Han Chae Young .

Ugh, I’m annoyed already at this drama.
I’m afraid it’ll be one of those things that bring up your hopes so high only to turn out to be overrated lol.
I can’t watch this without heart-break either; everytime I see a version of Hana Yori Dango, I fall in love with Rui’s character and then feel bitter disappointment that he didn’t “get the girl” lol

Of course Hye Sun went to ‘Shinhwa College’, she’s more than qualified seeing that she was in “Nonstop 5′ with MinWoo, hosted ‘Ingkigayo’ with Andy and was Eric’s love interest in ‘Strongest Chill Woo’. What other actress can boast this kind of connection?

well, i am lookin foirward to it, but it makes me sad that hyunjoong won[t b w/ hwang bo =( they were so cute together. oh well though. =(
ever since the airing of Meteor Garden in our country, we were invaded by the infamous F4 with their charming looks and different characters…
and when Hana Yori Dango was aired nonethe stiless we still supported it even though we knew the story…
And now here comes the korean version of the manga hana yori dango or a.k.a Boys Before Flowers now we’re really excited on how koreans will the koreans give their own characters on each role…
At first I was really hoping thet the lead role will be played by Yoon Eun Hye as Tsukushi MAakino, Joo Ji Hoon as Tsukasa Domyoji, Hero Kim as Rui Hanazawa, U-know of DBSQ as Akira Mimasaka and Kim Hae Sung as Soijiro Nishikado… hehejhe!!! but I guess it will never happen… oh! well life must go on… maybe the korean version of DEVIL BESIDE ME will fulfilrl this dream cast of mine… well that’s all folks…GANBATTE to all the casts of Boys Before Flowers… chooowwww!!! BOOOOgSSSSHHH !!! bOOOghSSSS!!!
