ciaociao,i seriously dont understand why your a writer here. ALL of your articles critizes all koreans from kpop to the artists themselves. if you hate them so much then whats the point of writing about them? first all the idol groups and now single artists. debuting into any country specially the U.S. is hard enough but you just like to put them down. if your asian then you should be ashamed cause these artists Boa,even….Rain are trying to finally get asian artists more noticed in America and make history which would be easier for all asians.even though am black i think its time for America to see what Korean artists are made of. of course se7en is starting small so he can build up to the top,so you should at least be more supportive.lol,too long of an essay.

I can understand him just fine. But then again I have been listening to a lot of Engrish songs lately. Via Big bang and BOA. He actually sounds really good. I really don’t like the subject manner much but it will fit into the American market. Some American artists are harder to understand than he is. Hey at least this song sounds better than “Eat You Up”. I’m not a Boa or Seven fan but I’ve got to say he will probably make it further than Boa if he ever debuts. He needs to step his game up though and get someone who knows how to write better lyrics for his songs. He can sing pretty good and his english sounds excellent.

the thing about Se7en is, no matter how good his English pronounciation is compared to BoA’s, his songs are nowhere as catchy as BoA’s. Yes BoA’s song is catchy, as in ANNOYING-CATCHY but that’s what all hit singles are about isn’t it? Rihanna’s Umbrella is f*cking annoying, WG’s Tell Me, So Hot and Nobody are all f*cking annoying. But they all have that one common factor - it’s CATCHY.

You’ll find yourself humming to it and tapping to it even though it’s f*cking annoying.

and BoA’s promotion is at least going SOMEWHERE. Just last night I tuned into MTV ASIA and lo and behold! They were heavily promoting BoA’s Eat You Up! I couldn’t believe I was watching BoA’s american debut song MV right on my big screen.

you go to america and ask if they know who BoA is and chances are they might say they know. “Oh the Korean girl with a snake’s name singing that annoying song trying to eat the americans up. Yeah I’ve heard of her.” But try asking who Se7en is and chances are they might say, “WHO?! The seven group? WHAT?”

What i’m trying to say is BoA’s promotion is going somewhere, at least. She’s slowly creating a name for herself. But Se7en is nowhere near BoA. And it’s sad really cos I’m a fan of Se7en myself and to see him going down like this is just so painful to watch.

and btw, i don’t know if it’s photoshopped or what but Se7en looking like he’s trying to be Black in his promotion posters is not cool. at all.

@ sdb, You don’t see any promotions about Se7en currently as his management company has decided to debut him at a later date. Boa’s promotion is going “somewhere” because her debut is in a couple of weeks. If you want to talk about recognition, Se7en’s songs have been leaked and featured on prominent and numerous r.n.b and hip hop websites.

Yeah, Boa’s song is catchy but if u have listened to Se7en’s “them girls” his song had an immediate appeal to it. When the snip first appeared on RQM, my brother had his song on repeat for days.

It is quite painful to think that se7en has remained quite dormant but I prefer it that way. I like the fact that he’s taking the time to prepare for his US debut & that he is making improvements in his language skills.

Hrmm and the first picture of Se7en makes him look like a valet boy.

i didn’t say Se7en’s songs weren’t catchy. i personally like “your number” myself. but you’ve gotta admit. it’s nowhere AS CATCHY AS BoA’s “Eat You Up”.

Se7en has the voice. and yes, his english pronounciation is much better than BoA’s but the songs produced by DarkChild is disappointingly not up to his usual standards.

I heard this song isn’t gonna be on his album anyway. And I don’t think Eat You Up is catchy. I dislike synthesized songs.

Until they reach the Billboard Hot 100, no one can really say who is doing better. Mink and S.Blush (both Koreans) were on the Billboard Dance/Club charts as #1 and #2 a few years ago, but that didn’t mean much. Same with Utada hit #1 on the Dance charts.
