The hunky model/actor, Yoo Gun, is set to swing some punches and all that jazz from October 24th onwards - on cable channel tvN that is.

“Fight” (or “Matjjang”), a tvN special anniversary production, promises to showcase some hardcore fighthing sequences as well as the K-drama staple of emotional turmoil. Yoo Gun was said to have gone off to martial arts school just to prepare for this 8-episode drama. He will play a working class man who’s just a regular joe by day but a fighter by night.

This “Fight Club” wannabe has also upped the ante with real and unrestrained punches and kicks. Most of the cast have reportedly done their own stunts so we should be in for a show.

After an uninspiring role in “Bad Couple” and a challenging attempt at being a mentally disabled man in “Hello God!”, Yoo Gun is finally going to show us whatever charisma he’s got in “Fight”. K-pop fans of the actor are also in for something from the OST. He features as in-house rapper on the theme song “Fight”, with Shin Mi Yeon.

With a cast including Uhm Tae Woong, Lee Young Jin, Kang Sung Jin and Lee Jong Soo, this drama looks to be a good 8-episode fight galore and more. So stay tuned to tvN on the 24th but check out the trailer and theme song in the meantime.
