Watching the first episode of “Worlds Within” was rather a painful experience, mostly because of Song Hye Kyo’s mediocre acting and her inability to pronounce her lines properly. As a result, this “veteran” actress is getting ripped apart by Korean netizens who aren’t shy to express their disappointment with her acting - or lack thereof.
Although some are hopeful that she’ll improve, I know better. Song Hye Kyo was short tongued for the past decade and one drama isn’t going to change that. I guess this is one time where it’s beneficial not to know any Korean and to rely on the subbing teams.
However, despite my complaints and low tv ratings, I will continue to support this drama because one can never have enough of Hyunbin.

i m not a korean (neither a fan of SHK) but i love k dramas. i hope someone answers my question. How come koreans are criticized for not pronouncing korean words properly? Is korean language very difficult to speak that even natives cant speak fluently? I m perplexed!
The reason why i m curious now is this is not the first time someone was criticized for their korean pronunciation. Obviously, since i dont understand korean, i cant make the difference.

so overrated. she totally ruined ‘hwang jini.’ i’m sure nobody would watch this boring drama with poor acting if it weren’t for Hyun Bin but honestly i don’t think he’s all that great either so good thing they have looks at least.

this show makes me sad. the much better actors are the old ones, but they get scrap. the pretty young things are good on your eyes, but totally empty and bland. i even got crossed eyed from all the HUGE closeup of symmetrical faces every half second. OVERLOAD!

being pretty and screwing your way to the top is hard work man. its how the game works. if some average looking girl had the same level of “talent” as Song Hye Gyo, she wouldn’t even be cast in a high school play. but she’s cute and cute goes a long way in korea.

She’s not a good actress to begin with….she’s gotten as far as she has on looks and looks alone.
Her and Hyun bin is a bad pairing. I wonder was their a screen test or did they just say, ‘oh, here’s too hugely popular actors. Let’s throw them together! YAY!’ They have ZERO chemistry and are downright awkward together…when they aren’t supposed to be!

FYI, she has (surprisingly) a lot of CF contracts despite her recent acting projects not faring well. Off the top of my head, she is currently the endorser for:

I watched eps. 1&2, it was fine for me. I like it more than EofE. I am looking forward for the next eps. SHK is a fine actor, she had try different roles, not just to be safe with easy role. How come they don’t criticize HB? People must be jealous of her, a lot of others actors I can’t even stand to watched.
I don’t know why EofE got such a high rating? got tire watching it.. I stop. Just a punch of love tangle, looks, revenge.. it’s not real! I don’t think SSH can act, his role is not that hard to act, just a look! Sorry about this to SSH fans.
Seriously, I don’t find that SHK’s acting was bad.. her acting was natural. Unfortunately, there was no climax in the story, which makes it seem boring..Anyway, aja aja fighting SHK!
Guys please face the truth that this drama is heading towards the Realism of life, not just cinderella stories as the other melodramas previously. Do you all think that everything in life will be just love triangles?? This drama is really realistic, it teaches you something, live your life like a drama might not be true, saying i love you to the person you love might not be easy.
It’s all very natural. Song Hye Kyo is really trying her best already, i suppose :).
