Korea’s resident MJ, Bae Yong Joon hooked up with Nintendo to create a “Learn Korean” game for the Japanese population aka Japanese ajummas who are still obsessed with Yongsama.
The details of its release are not known, but I’m utterly disappointed in Nintendo for choosing Bae Yong Joon for this new game/software. Why couldn’t they choose a more hip and cool group, such as DBSK, BoA, etc?
Anyhow, I’m not liking how Bae Yong Joon is slowly but surely becoming a representative of everything and anything Korean because he simply sends out the wrong message and impression. Not all Korean males are MJ wannabes. I promise!

i need a game like that to learn korean, it would be really cool. i think no matter who was promoting it as long as they give off a positive image of korea.

Seoulbeats, you already know the answer why Nintendo did not choose DBSK, Boa, etc. They won’t bring the money. Business is business. Besides, not matter how expensive BYJ is advertisers will get him because they believe in his pulling power.

The guy has great business sense, and he’s pulling in massive amount of money, but he looks like a sallow skinned woman.

MJ is an eccentric (Wacko Jacko), BYJ is not. Unless he dyes his skin to black or decides to have an afro and rhinoplasty to look like a black man, which will never happen.
He can be like Rain and wave his baeism magic stick lol..He does kind of creep me out like MJ. I hope he doesn’t like young boys or anything or have that whole Gothika thing going on….
Wow! I love to learn how to speak the Korean language! and if its Bae Yong Joon, so much the better. He is not arrogant and does it matter what other people think as I could say they are jealous!
