The Japanese drama was pretty good, though it almost completely cut out the boy love.

“Brokeback Mountain”, for all it’s cheesiness, was about two fully developed characters who happened to be gay, and the movie addressed their homosexuality with seriousness.

This movie is about a bunch of effeminate stereotypes acting gay so fan girls will shriek and giggle and buy tickets while Korean society mistreats gays in real life.

at first, i was a little hesitant to see Joo Ji Hoon in this movie because of its theme plus his unclean appearance hihi… but when i watched the trailer… it looks awesome! i’m sure they’ll be able to pull it off because i can see that there will be lots of fun to watch this.

Also, not all of the characters are gay in this. Even if you read the manga, there are gay themes and a couple of gay characters, but it’s more about the cake shop. It’s hardly Brokeback Mountain people. This isn’t some epic drama about gays. It’s just for fun.

If you want Brokeback Mountain go watch “No Regrets”. It’s a real BM Korean movie. I saw it once a long time ago. It’s kind of for adults, but it’s really good. The ending is kind of weird though.

I never really thought about that until you brought it up. I alwasy thought he carried himself really awkwardly in Goong, like when he walks. It’s like semi-hunched over, kind of, I don’t know.

But now that you mention it, the image is forever stuck in my mind, and I can’t enjoy his hotness quite as much as I used to anymore. You totally just ruined Joo Ji Hoon for me. j/k
