I’ve grown to love the song but this MV just sucks.

WOW. my first time listening to this song, thinking i should give it a try. BAD IDEA. horrible song, horrible vocals, lyrics, pronunciation, choreography, dancing, and on top of that a horrible mv.

It seems to me that only her crazy ass psycho fans will be eating this up! Despite all the opposition the entire mv wasn’t all that bad. Some parts were tolerable at best!

I agree I hated the american version because it made her give off the impression that well she belongs in a tool shed. I had soo much high hopes and the song is completly stuck in my head. This music video looked like I made it myself, and i know crap about cameras. I swear they should of done some poll thing and vote witch video is better, better yet why didn’t they just bother sticking to one video. I know they wanted to place an image on her for America, but this just sucks, and the Asian one would have so drawn everyone in because of the chorography…its not the the asian version was going for the “hannah montana” crowd for the way she was dressing anyways. This songs a dirty hot beat and it didn’t show in that music video. I SAY SOMEONE WRITE UP A PETITION TO NOT SHOW THAT VERSION ON TV AT ALL, they would have to listen to the fans, am I wrong??

They should just show the Korean Version in the US. It’s stupid that they made 2 MV’s for “diffrent” audiences. In the US dancing has been a trend lately and I think the Korean version would appeal to American audiences. The cheoreography would definitely intrigue viewers, and the song gets stuck in your head anyways so it’s a win-win situation.

The introduction was nice (I enjoyed seeing her accomplishments and old clips), but the video was… Diane Martel, why?! It doesn’t even do justice to her dancing (which is amazing, btw). Does SM not think that Korean music video directors will know what appeals to the American market? Because I definitely know the Korean version appealed to me…

YES…the video over all…not so great…I think it would have been a fantastic idea for SM to go with some who did a little bit of research to find out just who BoA is…This is NOT the greatest way to introduce BoA to an audience outside of the Asian community…The Korean version wins hands down…

I’m so sad! I’m especially disappointed with the director/producer. Please don’t show this in America SM Entertainment! This MV is a disgrace to BoA herself, honestly, this looks so cheaply made! Looks like anybody could have made it. Just get a beautiful Asian woman, have a good camera, and have a good video editing program and there you have it, the MV to BoA’s ‘Eat You Up’. BoA is so talented but this MV did no justice to her at all.
