Sunye of Wonder Girls and Jo Kwon of 2am have been BFF’s ever since they met at the JYP training center 8 years ago. Jo Kwon, in his interview right after 2am’s debut performance, did not forget to mention Sunye when the reporter asked him who he was thinking about at the moment while he was turning on the waterworks.
These two singers are the same age but apparently Sunye is the “noona” of the relationship. Jo Kwon even jokes around that when they were younger he got “beat up” quite frequently by Sunye, who always kept him in line.
There is a group of netizens who are hoping that this relationship blossoms into something more. While it’s true that these two are all grown up now, I have an inkling that the feminine looking Jo Kwon is no real match for hard bodied swimming champ, Park Tae Hwan, when it comes to Sunye’s true affection.
