To be exact, Seo Tae Ji made ten million dollars in a measly two months since his comeback. Three million from album sales, four million from concert sales, one million from advertisements, and so on… all this for an at best mediocre album? You have to wonder why Seo Tae-ji waited four years and six months to make his comeback when he could have been making this kind of money.
Actress So Yoojin wasn’t being disrespectful when she said that the 36 year old rocker was a good businessman, she was just telling the simple truth. With the Kpop music industry always complaining that album sales are at rock bottom because of digital downloading, one has to wonder why Seo Tae-ji seems to be the ultimate exception.
Is it because he and his music are the real deal? or can it be that his loyal teenage fans from the 90’s are now working adults with money to spend?

I love his newest single! It’s really brilliant. He really is great. But that’s a lot of money esp in this lagging Korean Music industry.

i am his loyal fan from the 90s and i will tell you that his albums are ALWAYS worth buying. i would never download his music off the internet like i do with other artists cuz i know Seo Taiji puts in the same sweat and blood in each and every song.
Maybe the label bought a lot of the album to push up sales. Happens all the time, in the States.
This doesn’t surprise me. He rocks lol His newest single really is great. He is hot though. In a unique way, but hot nonetheless.

Seriously that guy has one unique voice. . something about him just captures ur attention. I thought he was like an ordinary joe or whatever, but when i attempted to listen to one of his songs. . i couldnt stop .
well you can call his newest album mediocre and what not… but fact is: his music back then was revolutionary. he’s the one, who made kpop what it is today. he’s also the one, who started “real” musicvideos in korea. before the musicvideos looked like karaoke videos. can you believe that? i can’t even imagine what kpop would be now without him ^^
it’s no surprise that he’s selling that great. even if his new albums aren’t as great as his older stuff. they’re still worth buying
